Swami Vivekananda’s actual name is Narendranath Datta. He was born on January 12, 1863. So Swami Vivekananda was a famous Indian monk. He was a well-known disciple of Ramakrishna Paramhansa. Initially, he introduced Indian philosophy and rituals all over the World such as in western countries.

Similarly, his yoga and Vedanta have been followed by many people. He spread Hinduism in torlp to a point, he brought the concept of Indian nationalism. Hence, he was the founder of the Ramakrishna Mission and Ramakrishna math. Popularly his speeches began with the line “Brother and sisters of America”.

At the earliest when Vivekananda was born, he was turned into spirituality. He was born in Calcutta. Even so, he strongly believes that service to God rendered service to humanity. Indeed he was influenced by his guru Ramakrishna Paramhansa. Also, he represented India all over the world. Additionally, he was performed many lectures representing Hindu philosophy.

Early life of Swami vivekananda

Swami Vivekananda was born on Makar Sankranti. His original name was Narendranath. In addition to this, he has 9 other siblings. Vishwanath Dutta was a member of Calcutta High court. His grandfather was a Sanskrit scholar. Also his mother Bhuvaneswari Devi was a housewife. But he left and joined Monk at the age of 25.

Above all, he was very much interested in yoga and meditation. Also, he performed yoga daily. Initially, he was messy and naughty. But later became a monk.

Schooling and Education of Vivekananda

His schooling was at Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar when he was 8. Later he received his first degree in presidency College entrance. Additionally, his subjects include spiritual, philosophy, history, and many related to philosophy. Also, he read Vedas and Upanishads. Additionally, ly he has trained in music and physical exercise, and other activities.

He also studied at a general assembly institution in western logic and western philosophy. And Als o, Sanskrittscriptt, r e s, and Bengali literature. He was good at reading.

Later he joined Brahmo samaj, which keeps drinking and smoking away from youth. Initially, he was inspired by Brahmo samaj about idle and god.

Ramakrishna as a Teacher

Swami Vivekananda met Ramakrishna Paramhansa initially in 1881. He first met Ramakrishna in a general assembly institution. Later in their next meet, Ramakrishna said him to sing a song. Vivekananda sang which impressed Ramakrishna. Initially, Vivekananda did not accept Ramakrishna as a teacher who is against his ideas. But later impressed with his personality. Later Ramakrishna died due to throat cancer.

After his death, Vivekananda found Ramakrishna math at low cost. Additionally, many other disciples participated in yoga and meditation. Later Narendranath took swami Vivekananda as his name.

Last day of Swami Vivekananda

Later, on 04 July 1902, he woke early and meditated for almost 3 hours. He died at 9:00 pm while he was meditating. He informed his disciples not to disturb him.
