In the entire world, most people visited fascinating paintings which is MONA LISA.  it is described as “the best known, the most visited, the most written about, the most sung about, the most parodied work of art in the world”. The Mona Lisa is one of the most valuable paintings in the world. so, In this blog, I am going to share Mona Lisa’s details.

The smile of Mona Lisa changes as viewer direction is changed. People believe that some hidden code is present in it. This painting is drawn on wood but not on paper. this painting was started in 1503 and ended in 1519. The actual spelling is Monna Lisa. which means my lady in Italy. French ruler napoleon likes this painting. he hung this painting in his bedroom.

Who painted Mona Lisa?

This fascinating painting was drawn by Leonardo da Vinci. He was an Italian polymath. he belongs to the early 15th century. and also he is interested in drawing, painting, sculpture, architecture, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, paleontology, and cartography. Da Vinci is considered as the father of paleontology, ichnology, and architecture.

Vinci is a well-known painter of all time! He is a universal genius and extraordinary intelligent! He also painted the Last Supper painting. Mona Lisa is a small painting of 30×21.

Da Vinci likes Mona Lisa painting more than any other. He did not complete this painting and passed away. the left-hand last finger is incomplete. until his death, he carried this painting wherever he went. He was 51 years old while he started this painting.

Why Mona Lisa so Popular?

The smile made it is so famous. this art appears different in different directions. It was evident to me that when I looked at her mouth, she wasn’t smiling as much as when I looked at her eyes. MonaLisa looked as if she were smiling cheerfully. Mona Lisa’s smile changes depending on the way you look.

Da Vince did not mention who is in that painting. in many of his writings, there is no clue. Few say that it is an imaginary painting of mother mary. also, a few talk that it is his mother. Some people say that Mona Lisa is not a Female. and da Vinci is a homosexual person. he might have drawn his student salai. or it might be the female version of Da Vinci. But this is not true.

Pascal cottee a scientist in 2004 came forward. By using spectral light high-intensity multi-lens camera he separated the layers of paint. he found that the third layer features the same as Lisa Geraldine. this did not satisfy Vinci and he modified that painting.

Technique Behind Smile.

The University Of Sunderland conducted a survey. They said that ” we see the happy face when we are far” and “chin is so different when we see closer”. Da Vinci used a technique called Sfumato. Sfumato is a painting technique for softening the transition between colors, mimicking an area beyond what the human eye is focusing on.

Sfumato this technique doesn’t have perfect outlines. It is most often used by making subtle gradations that do not include lines or borders, from areas of light to areas of dark. The technique was used not only to give an elusive and illusionistic rendering of the human face but also to create rich atmospheric effects.

Yes! Scientists have found the brushes and colors used for painting Mona Lisa. But As Time Passes this eyebrows which are light in color disappeared!

So The portrait reflects the pyramid shape from hands to head. because this illustration is unique and fascinating. Landscape of left is slight higher than the landscape at left. Da Vinci’s famous masterpiece is painted on a poplar plank. Considering he was accustomed to painting larger works on wet plaster, a wood plank does not seem that outlandish. Because So Leonardo Da Vinci did not get to finish the painting before his death. No one knows the woman in the painting. This shows that Leonardo Da Vinci is a unforgettable painter. In conclusion, Because Mona Lisa was one of Da Vinci’s numerous works which is a masterpiece to marvel at to date. Mona Lisa which hangs on the walls of Musee de Louvre currently depicts a feminine mystique of a mysterious woman.
